Kensington Palace recently confirmed the news that Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle are engaged. Their engagement occurred earlier this month in London and the wedding is scheduled for Spring 2018.
The engagement was officially announced with two statements. The official Twitter account for Kensington Palace also shared details of the engagement.

The latest huge engaged couples have also released some official engagement pictures for the world’s media in Diana memorial Garden, Kensington.
There is also news that Duke and Duchess of Cambridge gave their blessings after hearing the good news saying: ‘We are very excited for Harry and Meghan. It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together”.
- This engagement has got people talking, one is because Meghan is American from an average American family home
- This will be Meghan’s 2nd Marriage. She was previously married to a Hollywood actor.
- Megan is 3 years older than Prince Harry. Meghan is 36 and Prince Harry is 33/
- Meghan is mixed raced and considered black.
- People thought the Royal family won’t approve the relationship, but the couple who had been growing stronger since the announcement of their relationship are not taking any back sits.
The question now is what does having any American mixed race woman as a Queen mean to the royals?
