Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter, Simone Johnson, is set to take to the ring of World Entertainment Wrestling (WWE) just like her father and the men before him.
Simone Johnson has started training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, in a bid to become a certified wrestler.
The news was first made known by popular wrestling journalist, Ryan Satin and later confirmed by WWE themselves who stated that 18-year old Simone Johnson is on the path to becoming the first fourth-generation Superstar in WWE history.
Simone’s father and former WWE mainstay, Dwayne Johnson also shared the news on his official Instagram page. He revealed through a post that her first daughter has indeed signed her first official contract with the Entertainment Company.
“Dreams ain’t just for dreamers. Congrats to my #1 born, Simone Johnson on officially signing her wrestling contract with @wwe @wwenxt and on her way to becoming the first-ever 4th generation WWE athlete. Carry our family name proudly, but your road will always be yours to create, earn & own,” his post reads.
It’s a dream come true for the teenage blondie who penned a lovely note to her younger self. According to her, she fell in love with wrestling as a little girl and is now ready to do the work.
“To the little girl who fell in love with wrestling & said “this will be my life one day”, this is for you. I’m humbled, grateful & ready to work. Let’s do this,” she wrote.
