Popular Nigerian music duo Burna Boy and Zlanta Ibile have both taken to social media to mock teenage hotshot Rema for his new single titled “Beamer”
Twitter is currently fuming at Burna Boy and Zlanta who were recently spotted in a video aiming jabs at the lyrical makeup of Rema’s new song.
In the video that has since gone viral, Zlanta can be seen mumbling to the words from the song, while Burna Boy who appeared amused by the act was heard saying something along the lines of, “I swear, and na watin dem talk be that…”

The joke did not go down well with Nigerian Twitter users who felt the act was born out of jealousy and they have since lashed out on the Ye and Bolanle coronas. Some even stated that Rema is actually better than Burna Boy and Zlanta combined.
Check out the reactions below:
You know ever since Rema won that next rated award

Rema that Zlatan is dissing just dropped an international EP. Where he featured Major Lazer, two American artist, a Norwegian DJ and an artist from Netherland.
Sometimes Nigerians give fame away to the wrong people 😩

Burna Boy self dey talk. Lol
At least Rema is original. He doesn't need to sample and bite from every single Fela and Angelique Kidjo song out there to make music. https://t.co/vwOFSW9m6x

As a staunch fan of both Burna Boy and Rema, I Kind of agree with this, considering the fact that Rema is just 19years old.
Lets just say Rema's growth is more fascinating than Burna's. Both artists are great https://t.co/ioJFqQ1OOq
