Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo has been offered a staggering £400,000-a-week contract by parent club Shanghai Shenhua in a bid to scupper his reported permanent move to England.
The 30-year-old, who made a January loan switch to the English giant, has been an instant hit after scoring multiple goals at Old Trafford . But the Chinese club has rewarded him with a bumper wage package to ensure he commits his future in China, according to Sky Sports.

Ighalo has always reiterated the honour of playing for United, the club he supported as a boy. He was already earning a hefty £300,000-a-week contract before joining the Red Devils. It is yet to be known if he will abandon his dream club for the big money move back to China.
