Lockdown: Actress Hilda Dokubo Questions The Intention of Nigerians Involved in Publicize Aid

Vetran Nollywood actress Hilda Dokubo is unhappy over the publicized manner at which sympathetic Nigerians have carried out the distribution of food items to their depraved counterparts during the coronavirus lockdown.

Hilda Dokubo says the less privileged do not deserve to be ridiculed in the name of giving.

The actress made this known via her Instagram page on Sunday, April 26, 2020, while reacting to a photo that recently went viral on social media.

In the photo, a community of aged women can be seen lined up before a camera as they each held a tuber of yam.

In her reaction, Hilda questioned the intention of the giver. She noted that it is totally wrong for anyone to take advantage of the vulnerable ones because of the hardship been felt as a result of the lockdown.

What do you call this? Giving? You should never do this to anyone just because you can. It is sad when people take advantage of the vulnerable as though life has not served them enough sour juice. #coronavirus is a #pandemic not a tool!” she wrote.
