Fast-rising Mavin Records singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, otherwise known as Ayra Starr, has united her boss, Don Jazzy, and award-winning Grammy singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid.
It is no news that Ayra Starr recently released her new album titled The Year I Turned 21, and positive reception trails the music.
Wizkid joins the millions of Nigerians to react to the song on the X app. He acknowledged the wonderful work done by the singer and identified her as a ‘super star.’
This tweet earned a reaction from Don Jazzy, who thanked Wizkid and called him Big Wiz.
Don Jazzy responds, “Thanks, Big Wiz.”
It is safe to say Ayra Starr’s new album brought a positive reaction between Wizkid and Don Jazzy after the former called out the Mavin Records boss.
Recall that Wizkid threw the X app into disarray when he shaded Don Jazzy through his signed artist, Ladipoe.
Ladipoe had taken to X-Platform to mock Wizkid’s controversial statement that hip-hop is dead, and a fan of Wizkid had called his attention to the shade.
In reaction, Wizkid jabbed Don Jazzy, and he revealed that he was never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer, hinting at the fact that record label manager Don Jazzy was an influencer.
This led the music executive to unfollow him on social media.
Following this, netizens dug up a 2020 tweet of Don Jazzy declaring himself an influencer. In the resurfaced tweet, the Mavins founder sent a message to Air Hostesses as he urged them to become social media influencers.
The music executive revealed that he had also become a full-time influencer.
He added that he would reach out to social media influencers and content creators, Mr. Macaroni, Taaoma, and Lasisi, to train him.
