The wait is over! Nigeria has made History as Democracy worked for the first time. It was all jubilation when APC’s Presidential candidate, Muhammdu Buhar was Announced the winner of the 2015 Presidential election. The Former military ruler Muhammadu Buhari has become the first opposition candidate to win presidential elections in Nigeria.
The wait was long, over 48 hours of awaiting for the results of the presidential elections, which kicked off on Saturday the 28th of March 2015 early morning. This is considered the most talked about Nigerian election of all time. People cared, celebrities campaigned and voted, everyone was screaming ‘CHANGE’!.
Formal president of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan is the first Nigerian sitting president to lose an election. He accepts defet in a good way. He made sure the 2015 election went smooth and fair. He is a Hero indeed.
We hope the new President Muhammadu Buhari uses action and not word to bring the ‘CHANGE’ Nigerians are hoping for.
