Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie is presently in a fuming state as he drags the living daylight out of his elder brother Linc Edochie and veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo over their latest interview about him.
Saheed Osupa’s fury was ignited after his elder brother, Linc Edochie, appeared on KOK Live, a show hosted by their respected colleague Kanayo O. Kanayo.
During the show, Kanayo questioned Linc about Yul’s controversial marriage to Judy Austin.
Linc openly expressed his disagreement with his younger brother’s choices, urging Yul to stop showcasing the relationship on social media.
This bold public stance struck a nerve with Yul, who took to Instagram in a searing post, railing against what he saw as a betrayal within the family.
Infuriated by Linc’s comments and Kanayo’s probing questions, Yul expressed his anger, calling it “unwise and weakening” for a family member to publicly criticize another.
He unleashed a series of sharp, unfiltered insults at Linc and even appeared to subtly criticize Kanayo for hosting an interview that, in Yul’s view, crossed family boundaries.
Yul Edochie, in a post via his official Instagram page today, November 7th, 2024, wrote, “Never castigate your family in public. Never. That’s the sign of a weak person. Since you don’t know, let me educate you. You no dey see Davido and his uncle? Once you see them in public they are hugging, dancing and happy. Any matter wey dey na inside house dem dey treat am. Don’t let haters push you into castigating your family. That’s a sign of weakness and jealousy. Family matter na inside house dem dey treat am. The stupid person that sat you down to discuss your family, tell him to discuss his own family first.
“You’re not here to impress anybody. Trying to impress everyone will kill you before your time and people will move on. You must take the decision that will keep you alive. A man has his reasons for everything. Don’t stay where you will die just so you can impress people. That’s foolishness. And when you take decisions you stand by it. Leave people to talk. e no concern you.
“So when people ask you about your family, tell them to mind their business. Great people don’t castigate their family, their brother, sister, parents, children, etc in public. Na small minded people dey do am. No matter the pressure. Family stays together.”
Yul Edochie went on to blast his elder brother, saying that he did not publicize his own marriage but ended up being divorced by his wife, who packed out of the house.
Yul Edochie further went ahead to showcase a new video of him with his wife to pepper his elder brother Linc Edochie.
He wrote; “Why una no tell me since say my posts dey vex una? You should have told me since, so I can increase the posts. Ndi Ala. . . . . Ijele Odogwu @judyaustin1.”
