Nigerian Movie maker Jeta Amata’s long awaited movie ‘Black November’ is finally gracing cinemas and screens around the world from January 9th. Black November was a very anticipated movie which was due to be released in 2012, it was a story that explored political corruption related to Niger Delta region of Nigeria which is known for its oil-rich lands.
The Nigerian government allegedly wasn’t happy with the finished project in 2012 and stopped Jeta Amata from showing the film to the world. Jeta Amata however did not give any good reason why this most talked about movie of 2012 wasn’t released, he thought and decided to reshoot Black November movie to a satisfaction and also included more ideas. An official theatrical opening will take place in Nigeria on December 21st. Black November will grace cinemas in America, UK and Nigeria from January 9th.
This project is a collaboration of Hollywood/Nollywood stars Billy Zane, Tom Sizemore, Vivica Fox, Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead), Mbong Amata, Hakeem Kae Kazim and several others.
