Prince Harry Refuses to sign prenup’ ahead of his Royal wedding to Meghan Markle

Prince Harry, 33, reportedly refused to sign a prenup ahead of his wedding to wife to be Meghan Markle, 36. He was reportedly under pressure to sign one by courtiers determined to safeguard his fortune, thought be around £30 million. He believes in true and lasting love.

Meghan, who has an estimated £4 million fortune, divorced her first husband Trevor Engelson after two years. Harry is thought to have around £20 million in assets and received a £10 million inheritance from his mother Princess Diana.

A source told the Mail Online: ‘There was never any question in Harry’s mind that he would sign a prenup.

‘He’s determined that his marriage will be a lasting one, so there’s no need for him to sign anything.’

The beautiful couple are set to marry on Saturday, May 19at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. By choosing a Saturday, they’ve gone against tradition royal weddings usually take place on a weekday. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wed on a Friday and the Queen on a Thursday.

The Queen gave her formal consent on Thursday in a letter to the Privy Council and announced that she would attend her ‘most dearly beloved grandson’s’ ceremony later this year.
