Beyonce transformed herself into a spot-on impersonation of R&B legend Toni Braxton’s iconic 1993 album cover for her Halloween and she nailed every detail of it.
‘Sending love and adoration to one of our talented legends,’ Beyonce wrote in the caption on one of the photos.
‘Have a Happy Halloween my Kings and Queens,’ the hitmaker wrote.
The mother of three looked identical to the R&B songbird in the photos which she titled ‘Phoni Braxton’.
Just like Toni, Queen Bey rocked a cropped pixie cut, perfectly sculpted eyebrows, a Merlot lip and a plain white tank with a leather jacket that she shrugged off her shoulders.
Bey’s costume inspiration is over twenty years old but, thanks to the recent revival of 90s fashion, it still managed to look contemporary.
The look was modelled after Toni’s very first album that was released in 1993 and its debut single, Another Sad Love Song.
The song marked Toni’s first foray into the Billboard 100 and peaked at number seven.
The 90s icon has commented and reposted a side by side close up Image and said
‘ Phoni Braxton!? NEVER!!!
How do you look better than me on MY album cover?
I LOVE IT, Such a superstar!
Thanks for the love sis!
Happy Halloween 🎃
