5 Hot Banging Afrobeats Music Videos to Watch This Festive Season


The month of December has been a great one for top Nigerian Afrobeats singers. Tiwa Savage, Tekno, Flavour, Iyanya, Omawomi amongst others released tracks and visuals we can all enjoy this festive period. Below is our favourite five.

1. Tiwa Savage – One

Tiwa Savage hit us with her new song first week of December. Thou the video is called ‘ONE’, Tiwa sang in her mother’s tong once again, giving us a great sensation of African rhythm and voice. The video was shot by Capital Dream Pictures and the visual is amazing.

2. Tekno – On You

Triple MG artist Tekno surprised us with a new song and music video titled “On You“.

This comes after the announced the issue with his vocal cords and is under medication. In this video, Tekno took it slow and gentle in this video and the visual did not disapoint.

3. Flavour Featuring Umu Obiligbo – Awele

Flavour teams with up with Igbo indigenous duo, Umu Obiligbo in dishing out his forthcoming E.P. album, Awele” translated as safe journey.

“Awele” is another unique musical masterpiece from Flavour who has always taken pride in representing the traditional Igbo culture through his music. Adasa Cookey delivers stunning visuals for this astounding track off the E.P. album.

4. Omawumi featuring Falz – Hold My Baby

Mid-December, music star Omawumi releases her latest single featuring Falz and titled “Hold My Baby“. This is yet two great music stars from Nigeria coming together to make magic.

5. New Video: Iyanya – No Drama

Iyanya is back! Following the success of the audio for his most recent song No DramaIyanya releases a captivating visual for the track.

The video was shot in Italy, Rome and directed by Henry Emehel.

So far these are the Afrobeats videos from December 2018 so far and all from popular and well known Afrobeat stars. This goes to show that 2019 looks promising for most of these artists and we can’t wait to dive in.
