The Oscars released their list of nominees for 2019 on Tuesday. “Black Panther” movie become the first comic book movie to be nominated for Best Picture with 7 Awards.

Newly inducted Academy member Omotola JaladeEkeinde is glad most of the movies she nominated made the final list, but she’s not happy about one thing.

Writing on her Instagram, Omotola shared that she’s not very excited any African movie made the list. “It’s fine though, someday soon, she said, they’ll be doing it for Africans”. She added.
