Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, known better by his stage name, Davido has been speaking a lot lately on issues concerning his partner, Chioma and the completion of his latest music album titled ‘A Good Time ‘
In an interview with New York based radio station Hot 97, the singer opened up on how much affection he has for Chioma, wife-to-be and mother of his newborn baby.
Davido insists he has no problem going to jail on behalf of Chioma, if ever she is convicted of committing any offense. He was also asked the highest outlay ever spent on his significant other, to which he replied a whopping N16.5 million.
According to him, the astronomical amount was spent on one of his trips to the Middle Eastern luxury city of Dubai, on three bracelets, two bags and other expensive accessories.
In another swift move, Davido took to micro blogging platform, Twitter to thank his chef partner for being patient with him during the long process of producing his new music album.
The singer shared a series of tweets after he announced the completion of his latest music album, A Good Time, noting that it has been seven years since the release of his first album, Omo Baba Olowo.
In one tweet, he expressed gratitude to Chioma for being patient and tolerant even during her pregnancy period, a time when every woman needs the presence of their significant other. He also expressed his love for her.
While in other set of tweets, the singer revealed how excited he is to share his new album with the world, how blessed he is to have three beautiful children and how thankful he is to everyone who contributed in the actualization of his latest music project – his manager, writers and overall team.
He concluded by saying that it is indeed a good time for him. He has found the love of his life. And that he has never been more happy in life than now.
Davido’s 17 track album is scheduled for release on Tuesday, November 22. The singer confirmed through a link that Risky, Blow My Mind, Assurance, If and Fall will all be inaugurated into the new album.
