After several years of being absent from the theater and home videos, popular Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has revealed what prompted him to get off his acting hiatus and back to featuring in films once again.
According to the actor, he was compelled back to act after he got the script for Samuel Olatunji romance film “Seven and a Half Dates.”
Jim Ikye made this known while reacting to the news that “Seven and a Half Dates” premiered for the first time on global streaming platform, Netflix.
He said: “I must say, the script compelled me back into acting. Creativity, uniqueness and a lot more. I just couldn’t afford to not be part of this movie. The cast members are incredibly talented. I always choose my script very carefully and when I got the script for Seven and a Half Dates, I just couldn’t turn my back on it.”
