The legendary P.Diddy celebrated his 50th birthday over the weekend, and it was one of the most fabulous star-studded events of the year.
The elegant birthday bash took place in Los Angeles around December 14/15, and the rapper spent it with friends, family and industry insiders.
Diddy has always been known for throwing elaborate parties that brought A-listers out, and this year celebration was no different.
Iconic stars spotted at the event includes; Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, Cardi B and Offset, Kelly Rowland, Kylie Jenner, Chloe Kardashian, Mary J. Blige, to Big Sean and Jhené Aiko, to name a few. Most of Black Hollywood supported the entrepreneur for making it to half a century.
The Recording Academy has also announced that the American rapper and businessman whose real name is Sean “Diddy” Combs will be honoured with Industry Icon recognition for his 25-year career and “continuous influence on the music industry and beyond.” in the year 2020.

According to a statement by Clive Davis, co-host of the Pre-GRAMMY Gala, said Combs “fully deserves this wonderful recognition. “It’s personally so gratifying that Sean “Puffy” Combs is this year’s icon,” he said.
“From his past innovative and creative contributions right from the very inception of the hip hop revolution, to his many memorable appearances at the Pre-Grammy Gala as both speaker and performer, it’s all come full circle. I couldn’t be happier for Sean as a dear friend and colleague” he said.
