Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has taken to social media to recount life since the alleged attack from suspected assassins that left her with a badly bruised face and in need of an emergency surgery to remove the multiple bullet fragments stuck inside her head.
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, February 3, 2020, Angela revealed that it is impossible for her to find sleep without the help of sleeping pills since the alleged assassin attack in 2019.
In the video, the actress was in an emotional state as she opened up about the trauma that accompanied her near-death experience in the hands of assassins. According to her, drugs and injections has become the new normal in her daily life.
“Life is deep you know???? Have u ever gotten to a point in ur life and it seems all hope is gone Just only you and your God ☝️ I pray No one experience what I have been through in the resent time, hmmmmmmmm It’s been really tough oooooo Injections upon injections Medicines upon medicines Tufiakwa. At some point self I hardly sleep at night, and like seriously 😒 I don’t joke with my sleep 😴 fam. Some Nights I will be crying like a baby cos of pain kaiiiiii
Speaking further, the movie star thanked God for spearing her life. She went on to advice fans and followers to pray constantly and always express gratitude to God.
“Be grateful for life everyday Many are Gone and some1 else is enjoying their wealth, thank God You are better than someone, Every day I look at my son and say God I thank u for keeping me alive we go about our hustle everyday and yet we come back protected. You sleep freely ,wake up sound and alive is not by your own making just say Protect me and my family lord 🙏 It’s a short prayer that goes along way.”
Angela Okorie faced an alleged death scare after escaping assassination in 2019. The actress was hospitalised after being hit by several bullets on her way back from a gig in Lagos.
