Controversial Nollywood actress Uche Elendu has called out veteran movie star Hilda Dokubo on social media over her recent suggestion on how to beat the coronavirus.

On March 24, Hilda Dokubo called on pastors with supernatural powers to walk into hospitals and heal people infected with the dreaded COVID-19.

But Uche Elendu is fuming at the actress because she has a totally different opinion to hers.

Uche Elendu says any pastor who goes from one hospital to another with the intention of healing sick people would lose their power because it contradicts key biblical principles.

The movie star took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, March, 24, 2020, where she explained why she does not agree with Dokubo’s solution.

According to her, any pastor who goes from one hospital to another with the intention of healing sick people would lose their power because it contradicts key biblical principles.

The actress went ahead to support her claims with bible scriptures and then warned people not to let the fear of coronavirus force them into breaking christian doctrines.  Speaking further, she advised anyone who is sick to seek for prayers and at the same time exercise faith in God.

Uche Elendu is fuming at Hilda Dokubo for asking pastors with supernatural powers to walk into hospitals and heal people infected with the dreaded COVID-19.

She wrote:

“With all due respect🙌 I cringe at this post.
My Jesus never went from hospital to hospital, or from one home to the other with the intention to heal people so under what authority will these pastors you challenge do that?? My bible tells me that 100% of the healing Jesus performed was done by the Faith of the afflicted. James 5: 14-15.

Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in FAITH will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.” The bible did not ask pastors to flex muscles by going from hospital to hospital to touch infected people, let us not in the scare of this pandemic make a caricature of the scriptures and the Body of Christ. Hold on to the promises of God over your life and Family, Pray, take precautionary measures and Be safe. This will surely Pass🙌 #coronavirusisreal #stayathome #pray.”

The World Health Organisation has declared coronavirus (COVID-19) a pandemic. Nigeria has fourty-six positive cases at the time of this writing.
