Prominent Nigerian Disk Jockey DJ Cuppy is currently facing the dilemma of ditching beloved club Arsenal for Manchester United following yet another heroic performance from Odion Ighalo during the club latest outing in the FA Cup on Saturday.

DJ Cuppy had vowed to become a Manchester United fan prior to the club tricky match away to league minors Norwich City in the FA cup quarter-final round.

Taking to her Twitter page ahead of the match, the pink-haired music jockey declared that as a loyal compatriot she would be joining the Red Devils if countryman Odion Ighalo is able to score in the quater-final clash.

She wrote: “As a Nigerian I think it’s only right that if @ighalojude scores a goal today… I will officially join @ManUtd as a fan!”

Maintaining his impressive scoring form since joining the English club, Ighalo duly obliged by opening the scoreline with a brilliant effort, piling the pressure on Cuppy to stay true to her promise.

It appears Manchester United were monitoring Cuppy’s decision as well, and after Ighalo’s goal went in, they duly welcomed her to the Red Devils fanbase.

While fans also took to the microbloogong platform to rave at the prospect of having the radio girl as the latest addition to the club’s glamorous list of celebrity supporters worldwide.

This comes on the heels of Cuppy announcing recently in a post on Twitter that her ‘toxic relationship’ with Arsenal has come to an end after many years of underachievement.

Her tweet which features a broken heart emoji reads: “It’s not me, it’s you. Only so much heartbreak a girl can take @Arsenal… I can no longer stay in this toxic relationship. I’m sorry.”

It remains to be seen whether the 27-year old would add salt to the wound of Arsenal fans by supporting their bitter rival after ditching the North London club.
