Police in England are currently locked in investigation after brazen thieves raised an entire building from the ground of a sporting center and made away with it.
The wooden building was stolen from the sports center on Chanterlands Avenue in Hull City on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.
How it Happened
According to police information from the district, the 33ft (10m) wooden property was dismantled piece by piece by two men over a six-hour period and loaded into a white van.
The thieves reportedly made numerous trips to the site from 9am and 3pm before the day of the theft.
The two men were challenged at the center by locals, but still managed to get away with the hut which is said to be of significant weight.
When pressed for further information, a spokesman for Humberside Police said: “The incident was reported to us once it was established that the men did not have the authority to remove the building which is of valuable resource for the sports center and well used by the local community.”
