Popular Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim has got a message for single women who are on the lookout for a partner.
Juliet Ibrahim wants women to raise the bar as high as possible and be selective of the men that approaches them for relationship.
The movie star made the somewhat controversial remark during her guest appearance at the TV3’s Ladies Circle show in Ghana where she struck a conversation with singer MzVee on relationship matters.
Juliet disagreed with MzVee after she revealed that she had stopped being picky when it comes to who should be her boyfriend. Rather, she insisted that women must have standards and be picky.
“Every woman needs to have a list so with what MzVee said, I will say that she will need to still have a standard and be picky. The only thing I will advise ladies on is that they should never have expectations. Just accept the person for who they are. That is what is important in a relationship,” she said.
The curvey actress went on to give the lowdown on the attributes that makes a man ideal for her.
She continued: “For me, intelligence is important, I should be able to have a conversation with you. I cannot be talking about what is happening in America or Covid-19 and you are talking about shoeshine or something else. The level of IQ has to be on the same level.”
“I also love consistency. If you are inconsistent then it is turn off for me. If you say A, let your A be your A. That is how I am. So for me, it is those traits that I look for in a guy, don’t brag, don’t also be too old-fashioned.”
Juliet Ibrahim’s last romantic relationship was with Nigerian singer Iceberg Slim.
The duo had one of the most beautiful celebrity relationships which spanned between 2017 and early 2018 before it hit the rocks.
