Buckingham Palace this morning made the sad announcement that Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth has passed away aged 99.
The statement read: “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh”. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.”
Prince Philip was born in 1921 and passed away on April 9th 2021 at the age of 99, just 2 months before his 100 Birthday.
