The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has replied to the comment from his opponent, the People Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer Atiku Abubakar.
According to the recent interview Atiku had with Channel TV on Monday, July 25, he said it would take a miracle for Mr Obi to win the 2023 general election.
And he also said that Mr Obi, former Governor of Anambra State, had supporters only on social media, and he did not have the required structure at the grassroots to win the 2023 presidential election.
Obi reacted to the comment from Atiku, Political journey has been a series of miracles, which enabled him to overcome many hurdles.
He also said he is looking forward to the next miracle that will make him the president of Nigeria in 2023.
“Miracle is the root of our faith”, was Obi’s response when he was asked to react to the comments by Atiku.
“….. So, I am looking forward to the next miracle,”
Mr Peter Obi said his decision to leave PDP was not revealed to anyone, including his family, because he didn’t want anyone to discourage him, and he left with his interest and the interest of Nigerians at heart.
“Atiku remains my respected brother. I didn’t tell other respected people, including my family, because I didn’t want people to talk me out of it,” he said. “I did it in the best interest of my future and the future of Nigerians.”
