The UK’s longest reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth 11 died peacefully today’s September 8th afternoon.
The Queen, at her time of death she was surrounded by all her children and other family members, including Prince William and Prince Harry, at Balmoral Castle, her estate in the Scottish highlands.
She was the longest-serving Monarch in British history. The Queen served for 70 years.
Following her death, Her first son Charles, the former Prince of Wales, is now King. He will address the shocked nation imminently, as the world grieves Britain’s longest-reigning monarch.
