Popular Nigeria gospel artist, Tope Alabi, recently released a tribute song in respect of late Queen Elizabeth 11 of England.
The Queen died at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle, United Kingdom and was the longest-serving monarch, she died peacefully on Thursday, September 8, Buckingham palace announced in a statement.
Following the death of the Queen, her eldest son, Charles has become king of U.K and the head of states of 14 other realms including Australia, Canada and New Zealand at the age of 73, he is the oldest monarch yet to ascend the throne.
In the video Tope Alabi released, the Queen’s photos were attached to it with a composed song by Tope Alabi to honor the late monarch, which most of her fans did not accept.
The lyrics of the tribute song read:.
“When I heard the news I was shocked and sad, though it’s better on the other side, I know it is peacefully on the other side, but we are pained you had to leave us this soon. We don’t want you to leave, we don’t plan to pay tributes to pay this soon, you love everyone and you are so kind”.
Tope Alabi was mocked by her fans for her “eye service”
