Afro-fusion singer, and composer widely known as BURNA BOY, was born on July 2, 1991, and gained popularity in 2012 as a result of the release of “Like To Party,” the first song off his debut album “L.I.F.E,” after having a fairytale year in Port Harcourt that saw the publication of two mix tapes and the winning of various grassroots awards.

The singer was recognized as one of the most gifted and consistent musicians in the Nigerian music scene, following the success of songs like “Yawa Dey,” “Like to Party,” “Tonight,” “Check and Balance,” “Don Gorgon,” “Soke,” and most recently, “Follow Me.”

The award winner has performed in venues such as: Drai’s Nightclub, LIV, Madison Square Garden, Mr Jones, Big Night Live, Harbor Rooftop Club, 3Arena, Addition Financial Arena, AO Arena, The Armory.

He has performed in major festivals like Primavera Sound Festival, Chop, Governors Ball, Made In America, and others.
