Celebrating its 4th edition, the Screen Nation Digital is Media Awards is now established as the definitive benchmark recognising black British excellence and innovation in digital media. This unique awards show is set to return early next year on Sunday 14th January 2018 at its new home of Tiger Tiger right in the heart of London’s west end.
Fronting the show will be two very diverse but distinct creative talents; actor, writer, producer and all around loveable dad, Nii Odartei Evans who hosts alongside actress, writer and twerk fitness guru Kelechi Okafor.
These two dynamic talents have carved out highly respected careers for themselves with their unique brand of creative energies that has seen them make constant appearances across most UK broadcasters, mainstream press and social media, to now fronting these prestigious awards.
The Digital is Media Awards which are open to professional and non-professional content creators, online publishers, editors and creative on screen talents has launched its Call for Entries and is seeking final entries (ends Tues 5th Dec, 12pm).
Full details of the 2017 categories and nominations to be voted for by both the public and nominees alike including Favourite Web Series, Short Film, Online Presenter, Web Series and Fav Podcast are announced on Friday 8th Dec across social media. Screen Nation judges also bestow up to four Special Achievement Awards recognising outstanding efforts and innovation in the digital landscape.
Previous winners have included some of Europe’s leading digital creative talents, such as multi-millionaire SBTV founder Jamal Edward MBE, sensational fashion & beauty lifestyle vlogger Patricia Bright, online giant GRM Daily and famed online comic A Dot Comedian, as well as rising international cultural brands such as Gal Dem, and unstoppable content creator Kayode Ewumi.
