Nollywood actor Williams Uchemba has restored bundles of smiles on the faces of the members of the poor family he found living under a telecommunication mast.
Williams Uchemba has indeed fulfilled the promise he made to the homeless couple living under a telecommunication mast by providing accommodation for the family and education for their kids.
Thee actor once again took to social media to talk about the beneficiaries of his latest act of charity.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Uchemba showcased the new property he bought on behalf of the family. In the video, the actor can be seen handing over the keys of the apartment to the couple who in turn expressed their joy and gratitude.
He also gave the family a check of one million Naira and announced that the daughters will be on full scholarship that will see them through tertiary education.
Actor Williams Uchemba had met the poor family in December 2019 when he came to the slum where they reside for a Christmas food donation outreach. He was moved by their little girl’s brilliance whom he found reading at a pavement. Also, he couldn’t help but notice the plight of the family and felt the need to do something.
The movie star subsequently declared at the time that he would take it upon himself to see that the family have a home of their own and their children return to school.
And now he has lived up to his promise…
