Famous Canadian rapper Drake was spotted at the Toronto stop of Nigerian singer Tems‘ ‘Born In The Wild’ tour, held at History on Saturday night. The appearance has created a buzz among fans and followers of both artists.

Footage circulating online captures Drake seated in a VIP section during Naomi Sharon’s performance. The rapper was seen nodding along and visibly enjoying the show.

During her set, Tems revealed that she defiled a cold to be at the event.

“I have a cold but we’re gonna dance this cold away,” She informed the audience.

Her performance featured a dynamic medley of tracks from her debut album ‘Born In The Wild’ as well as songs from her previous projects.

Tems and Drake have previously collaborated on two notable tracks: ‘Fountain’ from Drake’s catalog and ‘Wait 4 U’ by Future, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In other news, fast-rising Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, recently discussed her experience working with the multiple award-winning rapper Drake in an interview.

Tems, who has just signed a deal with RCA, expressed that while she acknowledges her talent and unique sound, she credits her success to a higher power.

In an interview with Apple Music’s Africa Now Radio with Lootlove, she said: “I don’t really think everything is because of me. I know that I’m talented and I have a great music sound. But honestly, it’s more than that, it’s more than just the music and there’s so many people involved and honestly, God has been in control of everything and I just like to live my life. So I don’t even think of it. I just see it as such an exciting life that I’m enjoying, rather than like trying to control it or take all the credit.”
