Prominent Nigerian singer David Adeleke aka Davido has expressed his displeasure over the fire outbreak that gutted Nigeria’s Treasury House in Abuja
On Wednesday, April 8, 2020, the Treasury House, where the office of the Accountant General of Nigeria is located, was engulfed by a mysterious fire that has left Davido feeling furious.
Reacting to the news via his Twitter page, the singer expressed concern over the COVID-19 relief fund donated by able Nigerians – including his billionaire father, Deji Adeleke – to combat the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
According to him, every penny from the money must be returned and accounted for as he does not buy the story that the AGF’s office was razed by fire.

Reports from multiple news outlets says the fire started from around the third floor, razing the building upwards including the Accountant General’s office and most of the important offices.
It is still unclear what caused the fire.
