Popular American rapper Meek Mills says he will be relocating to Africa because the United States of America is no longer safe.
Meek Mills made this known on his Instagram page while reacting to the killing of a top Iranian general, Qasem Soleimani, in an airstrike by the United States government.
In his Instagram post, the rapper and activist said he plans on moving to Africa as part of safety measures. Though he was unspecific in the country he will be moving to.
Meek Mills becomes the latest American celebrity to express fear over safety issues in America. In the same vein, Cardi B had hinted via a tweet that she is filing to become a citizen of Nigeria. The 27-year old even appealed with fans to help convince husband, Offset, to also her join in making the trip to the embassy.
The mother of one shared a picture of his husband donning a native attire. “convince him to move with me,” she wrote.
The killing of Qasem Soleimani has seen the Islamic Republic of Iran vow severe revenge on those responsible for the death of their top military commander.
