Disney has announced that the duchess of Sussex, Megan Markle, is starring in its upcoming Disneynature documentary.
Megan Markle’s first on-screen gig post decision to step down as a Senior Royal of the British Royal family will is see her play the role of a narrator for Disneynature documentary titled “Elephant” which is set to debut on Disney Plus on April 3, 2020, according to an announcement by the studio.

Disney took to its official Twitter handle on Thursday, March 26, 2020, where it shared a short trailer video that confirmed Megan’s role as a narrator in the upcoming animal-centered documentary.

“Elephant” follows African elephant Shani and her spirited son Jomo as their herd make an epic journey hundreds of miles across the vast Kalahari Desert. Led by their great matriarch, Gaia, the family faces brutal heat, dwindling resources and persistent predators, as they follow in their ancestor’s footsteps on a quest to reach a lush, green paradise.
According to People, all proceeds from the documentary will be channeled to supporting Elephants Without Borders, a non profit organization protecting elephants across Africa. Back in 2017, Prince Harry and Meghan visited the NGO in Bostwana.
