Lola Omotayo – wife of top Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye – has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to reveal the current location of his Chief of Staff.
Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, .has been placed on isolation in an undisclosed location for over a week after he was diagnosed with the dreaded coronavirus.
But Lola Omotayo-Okoye says Nigerians deserve to be kept informed about the whereabouts of one of the administration’s top official.
Lola, a public relations expert, made this known during a video session via her Instagram page on Thursday, April 2, 2020.
According to her, she is surprised over the recent statement made by the Lagos state commissioner of health who said in public that he doesn’t know the whereabout of Abba Kyari.
”Guys, so the Lagos state commissioner of health just said he doesn’t know Abba Kyari is currently located. Abba Kyari is President Buhari’s Chief of Staff and we don’t know where he is? Whether he is in Lagos receiving treatment or in Abuja at home, self-isolating, did he even go anywhere to get treatment or is he out of the country…nobody knows,” she said
She went on to urge the government to provide adequate information concerning the health status of Kyari who tested positive for coronavirus last week, days after he returned from Germany which is a high-risk country.
