Outspoken On-Air personality Toke Makinwa says some guys are just terrible at pick-up lines.
On the latest episode of Toke Moment, popular media personality Toke Makinwa takes a cheeky dig at guys with ‘Wack Pick-up Lines.’
In the episode released on Thursday, September 17, 2020, Toke implied that some individuals come with pick up lines that are dead on arrival.
For those with no prior knowledge of what a pick-up line is… Like the name alludes, it is a flattery conversation opener made by someone (a guy) with the intent of engaging an unfamiliar person (a lady) for romantic date or straight-up sex.
Some popular ones include:
- There is something wrong with my cell phone; it doesn’t have your number in it.
- If I could rearrange the alphabet, I’d put ‘U’ and ‘I’ together.
- I must be in a museum because you truly are a work of art.
- I didn’t know what I wanted in a woman until I saw you.
In Toke’s own words, “The Vlog of the week is about those weak as lines, lyrics that are so lame even you have to give it a rest. I’m more of a believer of actions than words, some of the lyrics we have fallen for are so weak, you have to chuckle.
