Actor Deyemi joined the list of male celebrities to cheekily participate in the women challenge when he shared a photo of himself dressed like a woman which drew the irk of the respected actress known to be a big advocate for the female gender.

Spotted on the comment section of Deyemi’s Instagram post was Genevieve who slammed him for making fun of the movement.

“We seek solace in humour to distract us from pain or discomfort. Tell me what it is you feel exactly? You see, that feeling that triggered you to make a joke of a movement that can only be understood by those it was meant for; the feeling of being overlooked or disregarded is part of the point of the challenge,” she wrote.

Deyemi quickly took down the post following the call out. He also penned an apology note to all women, including the Lionheart director whom he reaffirmed his respect for.

“Dear big sis @genevievennaji … I know your heart and I stan forever! ♥️♥️♥️ And to anyone else female/male who may have misconstrued the intent and felt bad,” he wrote.
