Nengi Rebecca Hampson of Big Brother Naija season five has been appointed as a senior special assistant to the Bayelsa state governor.
Nengi was appointed senior special assistant to governor Douye Diri on Girl Child, and equally made the Face of Bayelsa state following her success at the Big Brother Naija reality show
News of the reality star’s appointment was announced by her friend and fellow ex-housemate, Neo Akpofure, via his Twitter page on Friday, November 6, 2020.
“Omo my girl oo.. Senior Special Assistant to the Governor and Face of Bayelsa State. Congrats my sister @nengiofficial,” he wrote.

Nengi recently trended on Twitter after jetting off to her home state for the first time post-BBNaija and was hosted by officials of the Bayelsa government on Friday, November 6.
She was one of the housemates from the fifth season of Big Brother Naija and made it to the show’s grand finale.
The 22-year old entrepreneur is also a proud winner of two beauty pageants, the Queen of Trust pageant in 2013 and Miss Peace Bayelsa in 2014.
