Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister Katia Aveiro has written an emotional open letter to her superstar brother following news of the tragic death of the Manchester United forward’s baby son.
The Portuguese striker on Monday evening made public the heartbreaking news that his baby son had given up the ghost after long-term partner Georgina Rodriguez had given birth to a twin boy and girl.
In the heart shaking announcement, tributes have poured in for the pair, and now Ronaldo’s sister has broken her own silence with an emotional tribute.

Katia’s heartfelt message, which encapsulated a reference to Ronaldo’s father Dinis, who died of liver failure back in September 2005,
Reads:
“Our little angel is already on daddy’s lap. I love you and my heart is with you over there.
“May God take care of you and strengthen your path more and more. Our little girl is there, firm and strong and full of health and is going to show us with every day that only love matters.”
Katia accompanied her posts with pictures of Cristiano and Georgina alongside her two children. Earlier in the evening, Ronaldo opened up on the issue of a statement on his baby son’s death.

“It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our baby boy. It’s the greatest pain any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.
