‘Omo Ghetto The Saga’ was directed and produced by Funke Akindele and her husband JJC Skillz as their debut film.

The Bellos’ latest feat is probably the most shocking news in recent times as it comes amid a pandemic that crippled the film industry for months.

An excited Funke took to her page on Instagram with the good news. The actress wrote in her caption: “OMO GHETTO (THE SAGA) is the HIGHEST GROSSING NOLLWOOD MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!!!. This is how we react to this good news.”

‘Omo Ghetto The Saga’ was released on Christmas day 2020 and is a sequel to 2010 ‘Omo Ghetto’, which follows the chaotic life of Shalewa aka Lofty ( Funke Akindele)
