Top Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has opened up about why she refrained from sharing a photo of her newborn baby.
Halima Abubakar says her baby was born premature and that’s the reason she announced his arrival with another woman’s child.
The actress made this known via her Instagram page on Friday, April 10, 2020, where she shared another photo of a baby’s hand. She then revealed that her newborn baby is still at the hospital Intensive Care Unit.
According to her, she didn’t want to show her child to the world because he is fragile. The movie star went on to say that the baby is doing fine and will soon be discharged from the ICU.
“He will be discharged tmr from icu.i didn’t post cos he was premature. God saved him. I just had to post this. For the people who didn’t see me, I have no close friends. I can’t show you a fragile child, I risked this just to post,” she wrote.

It comes after an American mum called out the actress for stealing her baby’s photo.
The woman identified as @the_arielb shared screenshots of chats conversation between her and the actress on Instagram demanding that she take down the photo.
