Top American rapper Kanye West has spoken out against police brutality in Nigeria in light of the #EndSARS protest sweeping across the nation.
Kanye West has appealed to the Federal Government to yield to the demands of youths protesting against police brutality and extortion in the country.
The billionaire music star in a tweet shared via his Twitter page on Monday, October 12, 2020, said the government must listen to the cries of its people.
“I stand with my Nigerian brothers and sisters to end police brutality, the government must answer to the peoples’ cries #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria,” he tweeted.

West joins the list of international celebrities who have all lend their voices to the #EndSars protest across the country.
International superstars like John Boyega, Tery SongZ, Cardi B, Chains The Rapper, Nasty C, Drake, P Diddy and Estelle have all taken to their respective social channels to support the call for police reform.
Nigerians on Monday continued their protests to pressure the Federal Government to follow through on total disbanding of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
