Media personality Ebuka Obi Uchendu has left many inspired after he opened up about his days of being jobless.

In an interview with Channels Television’s ‘Morning Dew’, Ebuka recounted his rise to fame, sharing his heartbreaking experiences and struggles before fame.

The BBNaija’s host disclosed that he spent his money studying entertainment law in the UK because he had a dream of opening a big law firm; unfortunately, his dream didn’t come to pass as he couldn’t get a job.

To worsen things, he faded from the spotlight after his appearance on Big Brother Naija, which made many forget him in the entertainment industry.

According to him, he became extremely confused, suffered depression, and almost gave up his dreams of becoming a TV host until luck smiled on him.

He was able to get a show as a TV host, and from there, the media personality was able to get back on his feet as he learned a lot of things that shaped him as a person.

Touching on his dream of owning a law firm, Ebuka noted how the entertainment industry in Nigeria doesn’t value entertainment lawyers, hence why a majority of artists end up fighting their record labels. And due to a lack of finances, he gave up his dream of owning a law firm.

Many who were left inspired by his words took to social media to applaud him for not giving up.

Towards the end of last year, Ebuka left many baffled as he revealed a deep secret about himself.

The former Big Brother Naija winner, who many believe doesn’t face any challenges, proved netizens wrong, as just like the common man, the media personality also faced several mental battles.

While answering a question about one’s most challenging year with mental health, Ebuka Uchendu revealed that 2012 was his worst, as he cried more than his entire life.

However, the media personality has many reasons to be grateful for how life smiled on him, as in 2022, he received praise from the online community for his many wins and continuous career success.

Ebuka took social media by storm as he shared photos with one of the greatest and richest men in the world, Bill Gates, and his ex-wife, Melinda Gates.

The exceptional host anchored the couple’s foundation event and shared photos online.
