Kanye West Donates $2m, Singer Covers George Floyd’s Daughter College Tuition

The donation comes as the Floyd family holds the first of several planned memorial services.

Rapper Kanye West is stepping up to help the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, three of the unarmed black Americans whose killings have sparked outrage within the US and across the world.

TMZ reports that Kanye West has made a donation of $2 million to the three families and their their legal teams as they seek justice against those responsible for the untimely death of these men.

Floyd’s 6-year-old daughter, Gianna will also see her tuition fee coved through a college savings fund set up by the billionaire.

Kanye West is stepping up to help the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery.

The report also state that money from the donation will be used to support black-owned businesses in crisis across the country, including his native Chicago.

Arbery, Taylor and Floyd were all victims of systematic racism and police brutality exercised against black people in the US.
