Keke Palmer and her boyfriend Darius Jackson became a trending topic on social media Wednesday night (July 5) after Jackson commented on the actress’ dress.
Palmer attended Usher’s Las Vegas residency when a clip of the “U Don’t Have to Call” serenading her went viral. The Nope actress wore a black body suit under a sheer dress that her boyfriend did not care for.
“It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” Jackson commented on Twitter about the clip. He and Palmer share a son together.

Twitter began defending Palmer and began to drag Jackson for his comment.
“I think her BD should just hush and be happy she respect him enough not to take it further.”
One fan responded to the video. “Like bro that’s usher you can’t compete sit down eat your popcorn and be happy for your woman until the concert over.”
Another fan responded, “Don’t date a baddie if you’re gonna be this insecure.”
“Is this what all this new fuss is about lol?!” one fan commented.
Another layer to the Twitter debate surrounding the incident is that Jackson chose to call Keke out publicly instead of at home.
“Why would he say this…publicly…online…about his girlfriend,” one person wrote.
Another fan added, “Why couldn’t he go and tell her in their parlour? It’s a stupid comment but to say it publicly is MOST stupid.”
In a since-deleted tweet due to Jackson deleting his account, he doubled down on his response, writing, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.”
“This is my family & my representation,” he continued. “I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”

Fans also did some digging and found that Palmer and Jackson no longer followed one another.
The actress has not publicly addressed Jackson’s comments.
