Nigerian musician Cynthia Morgan, better known these days as Truly Madrina wrote a note to her colleague Davido after the latter’s 2024 Grammy loss.

The first-time Grammy nominee lost all three of her categories at the recently finished 66th Record Academy Awards, which took place at Cryptocom Arena in Los Angeles. This information is no longer news.

Cynthia Morgan responded to it by saying that even if she doesn’t like Davido, she thinks he ought to have received a prize. She said that if this had happened, the nation may have experienced peace. She is hoping for better results for him next time, though.

“Not a fan of you but I feel say them for just huge you one make we got get peace for this country. Better luck next time my former fave”.

Similarly, Crossdresser Bobrisky had expressed pride in Davido, calling himself his biggest fan. He stated that Davido is too big to fail, as he noted how he is past that level.

Bobrisky added that Davido is a world star, and nothing can beat that. Whether he wins Grammys or not, it wouldn’t stop people from listening to his songs.

Meanwhile, Davido’s hypeman, Special Spesh, had shaded Tyla, who won the Best African Music Performance over Davido, Burna Boy, and others.

Spesh took to his Instagram page to use Tyla’s song to throw shade at her, noting how a song about squirting down won over Davido.

Though he might have lost his Grammy win, Davido still has more reasons to be grateful, especially for the nomination.

Just a few days ago, Africanglitz reported that Davido had added another win to his numerous achievements with his feature on colleague Kizz Daniel’s song, Twe Twe remix.

Not surprisingly, the song is already making waves and breaking records, as it is now the fastest Afrobeats song to surpass 100,000 Shazams in 7 days.

Recently, Davido sent a message to his naysayers and those who underestimated him.

The Afrobeat singer told his haters and critics never to play with God as he listed out his wins, noting how people mocked him for not having a Grammy nomination, but now he has it and much more.
