BLACKMAIL, a movie about scam, action, suspense, sex, and cyber crime is set for its cinema theatrical release in over 100+ UK Cinemas on the 26th of August 2022.
The story is about a world-famous action star at the top of his career Chinda played by OC Ukeje, who receives a mystery email threatening to release a compromising sex tape of him and demanding a huge ransom to be paid in 24 hours or…!
Angry and scared in equal measures, Chinda’s world is thrown upside down as he imagines being shamed and disgraced in the eyes of his wife (Julia Holden) and his family, and then getting canceled by his adoring global fans.
Chinda’s street-wise agent, Ruben (Alessandro Babalola) can fix everything else but not this one and with paying the criminals off no longer an option, Chinda has nowhere left to turn. So, he decides to play the situation as if it was from one of his movies… and goes after the gang behind the scam.
As the clock ticks towards zero hour, Chinda blunders his way through Mighty Igor’s game of cyber cat and mouse. With his back against the wall, he must put everything he loves on the line. Catch the visual thrill below;

The movie was directed by Obi Emelonye who also doubled as the producer. Obi Emelonye is a renowned Nollywood Film Director/Producer and is known for directing award-winning films like Last Flight to Abuja, Badamasi, The Mirror Boy, Onye Ozi and many more.
