Nigerian afrobeats singer David Adeleke, aka Davido, has hinted at quitting music.
The ‘Unavailable’ crooner said he would quit music after his next album drops.
Davido disclosed this on Thursday night, May 9, while reacting to the recent pictures and videos doctored against him by some blogs.
He claimed that some people desperately want him out of the music industry.
Davido wrote on his X handle: “Yall niggas really want me out the game that bad ?? Oya after next album I no do again . So una fit get peace.”

Recall that Davido recently stated that since he came into the industry, most of his colleagues haven’t experienced peace of mind.
In other news, Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde, also known as Wasila Coded, has spoken out about being a third wife to her husband in an interview with her colleague, Biola Bayo.
She disclosed that her husband had, prior to their marriage, told her that he had two wives who were based in Nigeria, and he promised that they would accept her willingly.
The mother of one who got engaged and married in 2023 stated that she has never met a man like him who is so open and goes for what he wants. She added that her cowives were present at her nikai (introduction).
According to her, her husband, who is based in the US, said he doesn’t like wasting time, which is why, when they got talking in May, by June of 2023, he had married her.
Asked if she is cool with being the third wife, the movie star stated that she has no problem with it.
