This is not the first time Peruzzi has been accused of sexual molestation.

Popular Nigerian singer Okoh Tobechukwu aka Peruzzi  is currently trending on social media for the wrong reason after he was accused of rape again.

On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, singer Perruzzi joined the growing list of major celebrities in the entertainment industry to be caught between the crosshair of the #whyididntreportit trend still sweeping across Twitter.

Several eyebrows were raised towards the music star after a female social media user identified as Princess Jayamah released a series of tweets accusing him of raping her.

Sharing her story, Princess said that the alleged incident occurred eight years ago when he accompanied a friend to his house in Lagos.

Similar with other accounts under the hastag, the young lady noted that she was empowered to tell her own story by the boldness of other rape victims who have shared theirs, including Daffy Blanco, a London based singer who accused Peruzzi of sexual molestation earlier in the year.

Her claims quickly sparked widespread reactions from Nigerians on the micro blogging platform, which caused the singer to quickly respond back to the rape allegation via his Twitter and Instagram pages.

In his response, Peruzzi reiterated that he has never abused a lady sexually and he does not intend to ever carry out the act.

#whyididntreportit hastag has been one of the top trending topics on Twitter over the past few days in wake of the rape and murder of Uwa. Women has been using the hastag to tell their sad stories of sexual abuse and why they didn’t report their abusers immediately after the punishable act was perpetrated against them.
