Veteran actor Pete Edochie has finally broken his silence on his son Yul Edochie’s marital issues, which have been lingering over social media for a while now.
In a recent chat with Chude Jideonwo, Pete Edocchie, while addressing the issue in Igbo parables, said, “Since Yul has decided to bring in a foreign and infested woman into the family, he has invited all the lows, backwardness, pain, insults, and so on in this life.
He who goes to the farm and gets ants-infested firewood (amongst all the good firewood in the farm) shouldn’t be surprised when Lizards start paying him a visit (like lizards disturbing nah).”

Meanwhile, May Yul Edochie, the Queen of the Moment and estranged wife of Yul Edochie, is marking a new beginning following a divorce petition from the actor.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a new photo and mark the new month, May stated that it is a new beginning for her.
Appreciating all their constant shows of love and prayers, she wished them God’s blessings.
“A new month and a new beginning.
A million thanks to everyone for the constant show of love and prayers.
Here’s wishing you all, my amazing fam God’s choicest blessings and all-around miracles.

May Edochie files for divorce from Yul Edochie
Africanglitz reported last month that May Edochie had begun divorce proceedings from Yul.
According to Linda Ikeji’s blog, May has moved to dissolve their 18-year marriage.
The now-mother of three and her lawyer reportedly visited a court on Monday, July 11th, to submit a petition against Yul.
The reports also claimed that Yul had refused the petition, which had caused a delay in the filing of the proceedings.
Adding to it, Instagram blogger Gistlover alleged that the court granted full custody of their three kids to May Edochie and also granted her full custody of their mansion. The court reportedly warned the actor never to go near the mansion to disturb his first wife.
