1. Comedian Lasisi Elenu welcomes first son
The famous Nigerian comedian and skit maker; Nosa Afolabi, a.k.a Lasisi Elenu, who tied the knot with his partner Nonso Adika in July, welcomed their first baby on 4 October 2022. The newborn child bears the name “Rain Olanma Oluwanifemi Afolabi”.
He announced the birth of the girl child on Sunday, 13, October 2022, via his verified Instagram page. He posted a 30seconds video showing the journey leading to childbirth.
2. Davido performs live at Israel DMW’s wedding
Israel Afeare, known as Israel 30BG or Israel DMW; Nigerian singer Davido’s Logistics Manager, got married to his lover; Sheila David, on Saturday, 22 October 2022, in Benin.
The 42-year-old manager has been Davido’s aide for years and is affiliated with the singer’s 30 billion gang. His boss, Davido, was present at his wedding ceremony, accompanied by his baby mama Chioma Roland a.k.a Chef Chi, as he sang his hit song ‘Assurance’ while Choima sprayed wads of Naira. In attendance were Zlatan, a socialite Cuban Chiefpriest and other members of the 30 Billion Gang family.
In a viral clip, Israel was seen getting emotional as Davido performed at his wedding.

3. Davido celebrates son Ifeanyi’s 3rd birthday In a Big way
Famous multiple award-winning afrobeat artist, David Adedeji Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, celebrated his first son, Ifeanyi 3rd, birthday on Thursday, 20, 2022. The loving father of four, showered prayers on his son.
Sharing cute pictures of his son, the singer wrote, “I pray with all my heart that God grants you perfect health and pure happiness for as long as humanly possible. You will grow to be greater than Me; happy birthday, son @davidifeanyiadeleke !!! #BIG3 ”
4. Peggy Ovire & Frederick Leonard Are Engaged!
Nollywood star actor Fred Leonard decided to propose to co-star actor Peggy Ovire on her birthday on Friday, 21 October 2022. Their relationship dates back to 2015 when Frederick confirmed they were dating at AY Comedian’s show.
The actors, who recently got engaged, will hold their traditional wedding in Warri, Delta State, in November. Nollywood is gearing up for another celebrity marriage. Fred Leonard posted the hint on his Instagram page to celebrate the birthday of Ms Ovire, a year older, on Friday.
In his birthday message to her, the actor quoted the popular phrases used in marital vows. He wrote…

5. Actor Gideon Okeke confirms the collapse of marriage
Key Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke confirms a marital separation from his wife, Chidera, after four years of marriage.
The actor made the announcement on his Instagram story on Sunday, 23 October 2022. Okeke said he was served “breakfast”, adding that it had been a hard hot pill to swallow. He requested privacy from people as they worked towards the final dissolution of the marriage.
