British Vogue had a sit-down chit-chat with Nigeria popular singer Tiwa Savage earlier this month in partnership with MCM Worldwide.  The popular fashion hub described Tiwa as “the woman at the forefront of the Afrobeats explosion, and whose hybrid musical sound is going global”, and we agree!

During the conversation, Tiwa, mother of one share the first record she ever bought, how she feels seeing women who are working mothers.

She adds, “In everything I do – whether it’s using my native language, or an African beat – something is going to let you know that I’m an African woman.”
